Having worked in and around the fashion industry since leaving St. Paul’s Girls’ School in 2001, Alexandra Finlay set up Fin’s with a view to capturing a market for menswear that lies between the High Street and Bond Street.
"I would often see my boy friends struggling to find simple, good quality designs that weren’t accompanied by an eye-watering price.
What I have discovered only since I embarked on Fin’s is that most men are far more discerning and picky than meets the eye. Despite the restrictions of what are, essentially, a series of sort of uniforms that make up their wardrobes, I was surprised to see the level of attention to detail that men will pay to the buckle of a belt, or the cuffs on a shirt. They really notice things… And some care more deeply than they would like to admit!
The George men’s suede summer loafer is the first Fin’s creation in what I hope will be a fantastic range of classic, stylish, fuss-free, affordable, and, most importantly, fun men’s products."
